With over 25 years of experience in strategic consulting and security, he is a specialist in transnational organized crime and has led the group’s expansion across Latin America, the Caribbean, and the United States.
He holds a PhD in National Strategic Defense, Development, and Security (Paraguayan War College), master’s degrees in Security and Defense (Nebrija University) and Senior Management (Uniandes), as well as studies in defense policy, kidnapping (FBI), polygraph (Israel), and national defense. He is an international BASC and PBIP auditor.

Lorena Tapias specializes in terrorism, organized crime, and Latin American security. She is currently pursuing a Master's in International Security at George Mason University and holds a Master's degree in Institutional National Planning and Leadership from the Paraguayan War College.
Lorena also earned a BA in International Affairs and Political Science from The George Washington University. With over six years of experience in security analysis, she focuses on researching political violence, armed groups, and illicit economies in Latin America, with expertise in data analysis and open-source intelligence (OSINT).
